In doing this cycle, I hope to raise some money for the SBSA. When my father died, we had just moved to South Africa – so recently that the container carrying all our stuff hadn’t even arrived there. So everything was in turmoil. The SBSA helped us in getting back to the UK, arranging the funeral, and sorting out our accommodation while we were waiting for our house. These, as well as the hundreds of other things they did for us have made, and continue to make a huge difference. My personal experience has helped me to realize how invaluable the work they do is.
